These past six weeks have truly been eye-opening for me as an aspiring biology student. I greatly appreciated that all six of the weeks were greatly diverse and explored different fields in biology. Through this program, I’ve gained better clarity with what I want to do, and I’ve also learnt in greater depth about the subjects from school, even those exposed to me before. The practical experiments and question sessions constantly pushed me to be more curious about the how’s and what’s. All the teachers here at iCREST always explained all concepts clearly and answered all doubts, no matter how silly. Adnan sir, Bhavana ma’am, Pooja ma’am, and Jyothsna ma’am were all really helpful and made my love for the subject only deepen. This program was amazing and fun; the memories and lessons I’ve made and learnt here will stay with me for a long time. Thank you,

These past few weeks have been really fun and I learnt a lot. From microbiology to genetic engineering, every single piece of information was new (I understood none of it). I was able to further narrow my interests; to be specific, I will not be pursuing biochemistry. But all in all, the teachers were really great and took time to make us understand each concept, even if they had to repeat it 5 times. Adnan sir’s war analogy to teach immunology was quite fun to listen to, but it also made the concepts much easier to understand. Bhavana ma’am was always super chill and was great at explaining concepts. Pooja ma’am’s daily targeting on Arjun was the highlight of the day. Thank you, Adnan sir, Pooja ma’am, and Bhavana ma’am for such a fun and educational experience, and thank you Dr. Jyotsana ma’am for giving us this opportunity. I cannot wait to come back in June for the research program.

These past few weeks have been one of the most fun and incredible experiences I’ve ever had. Through these experiments, I was able to realize the career I wanted to pursue in the future. I would like to thank Jyotsna ma’am for her guidance and continuous questions during lunch break. But I would like to thank the incredible mentors. Besides teaching really well and making sure we never slept off after lunch, the continuous questions and roasting made the day more fun and entertaining. I loved molecular biology the most, followed by immunology and microbiology. I’m excited to come back and learn and get roasted even more. Thank you for these amazing 3 weeks!!
